Consignment | Jadakiss & DJ Drama

Jada gives you one off the arm and dares you not to come back with his money on this new Gangsta Grillz mixtape, 'Consignment.' As we all know, a Jadakiss mixtape is an event and a hood extravaganza. His first two official solo mixtapes 'The Champ Is Here' (which spawned the mega-hit by the same name) and 'Kiss My Ass: The Champ Is Here, Pt. 2' were both DJ Green Lantern presentations. Then on the third joint, Jada and Green brought in DJ Drama for a Team Invasion/Gangsta Grillz collaboration. Well now on the 4th mixtape from J.A.D.A., he goes down south -- not only with the beats but the features, too -- and so he tracks down DJ Drama for his first official Gangsta Grillz mixtape.

Here's what Jada had to say when interviewed by HipHopDX: "I did The Champ Is Here Part 3 as a partnership- Gangsta Grillz/Invasion - which had [DJ] Green Lantern and DJ Drama, but this is actually my first Gangsta Grillz with just me and Drama. It was kinda like a mutual thing, but I reached out to him because I had a lot of "Down South" features and it just seemed like it coincided to have the hottest mixtape deejay from the South."

And there you have it. That's how Kiss' first Gangsta Grillz was born. With a handful of features you might not normally expect from the Yonkers veteran, Jada enlists the likes of Jeezy, Gotti, Brick Squad, 2 Chainz, Trae, Ace Hood and Future to represent the Down South faction on this tape. Then Jada circles the block and rounds up Styles and Sheek, plus Fab, Banks, Meek, French, A$AP, Wale and fellow Ruff Ryder Swizz Beatz.
