The Big 10 | The 10-Year Anniversary Mixtape - 50 Cent

Sabrina's baby boy is no stranger to the mixtape. In fact, he pretty much re-invented them almost 10 years ago.

In 2002, 50 Cent started his assault on the hip-hop game with his mixtape '50 Cent Is The Future', which was soon followed by 'God's Plan', 'No Mercy, No Fear' and 'Bulletproof'. His formula proved to be a winner: take already released songs, put the G-Unit twist on 'em and make them new again. Not just freestyling over beats, Fif reworked tracks from scratch and introduced his crew of Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo at the same time.

The flow was water (maybe Fif knew Vitamin Water was coming...), the sound was raw, and soon he had the whole city yelling out G-G-G-G-G-G-Unit. The rest -- and by rest we mean tens of millions of records sold, businesses created and a rise to rap superstardom -- is history.

Well almost a decade to the date of his first mixtape, 50 Cent is ready to re-focus on the music and unleash another assault on the game and remind people why they f%#ked with F-50.

On 'The Big 10' 50 Cent introduces new G-Unit members Kidd Kidd and Paris and even serves up a couple cameos from the Talk of New York (but no Banks??) over new production that includes heat from Khalil, Scoop Deville, Jahlil Beats, Jake 1, Illmind and others.
