Chef Boy Izz-R, Red Cafe is forming a lethal duo with his homeboy from back in the mixtape hustling days, DJ Envy, as the two put forth this collective effort The Co-Op. Impressively marking the long-awaited album debut of Red Cafe, THE CO-OP is that joint effort between emcee and DJ, the two most important forces in hip-hop. Paying homage to the DJ, Red Cafe shares the spotlight on his album debut, giving it up for DJ Envy aka. The People's Choice aka. one of NYC's top radio DJ personalities.
Bringing together the incredible force of Red Cafe rhymes and DJ Envy A&R/production, this Co-Op effort also features a little bit of help from some of hip-hop's heaviest hitters, including Fabolous, Fat Joe, Styles P, Paul Wall, Nina Sky and others. It's damn good to see our people Red & Envy do their thing...big up Fellas.
