THE SCREENPRINT SOCRATES aka. THE COTTON CNN
Some think Hoodman is some cape wearing, freedom fighting, patriotic, ghetto super hero. Not even close. Their goal is to inform with comedy by giving people that skid-mark on your draws, life-is-worse-than-jail, racial-draft, funny-type insights on our society -- combined with in-your-face design and quality construction. Too much goes unsaid and Hoodman just put things on blast that they think need to be addressed.
Hoodman is the Cotton CNN, the Post-Mao Propaganda Van Man, Small-time gadflies hustlin’ for big change, the Screenprint Socrates, Iron Chef New York Pressin Flavor by the Thread Count, and whatever else you can think of… They Be Dat!

Malcolm's approach was always different than MLK's and one of the best examples of this is given by the explosive Spike Lee film Do The Right Thing. Radio Raheem is repeatedly blasting Public Enemy's "Fight The Power," showing you what the Malcolm mentality was all about -- just as Hoodman does with this creative concept that symbolizes Malcolm's explosive way of fighting racism and injustice.
