If you copped STREETS TALK 3 from DJ Scoob Doo, then you caught a 5-minute clip about a prisoner named Omar Broadway. If you read the March 2007 "Hip-Hop Behind Bars" edition of The Source magazine, then you know they recognized ST3 for this prison footage with a 2-page spread. Now, Omar Broadway's story re-emerges.
Locked away in Northern State Prison in Newark, New Jersey for six years and counting, Omar's life exists behind walls, locked away in the Bloods gang unit at one of NJ's worst facilities.
Using hidden cameras not allowed under normal circumstances, Omar recorded his life as a prisoner for more than six months.
