This release from the man known as H.A. Dub K is a bittersweet one to the fans who loved him. Hailing from the Southside of Houston, Texas, otherwise known as Screwston to his fans and followers, H.A.W.K. had his life tragically taken from him in May of 2005. After putting this album to the side so he could swang with the S.U.C., H.A.W.K. was recording and putting some of the finishing touches on this special album, 'Endangered Species.' Featuring a bevy of Southern elites and Houston homies that have already achieved mainstream nationwide success, including the likes of Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Devin The Dude, Chamillionaire and Trae, the sad thing about this album is that the incredibly humble H.A.W.K. will never get to see its final stages.
