Dave Chappelle needs no introduction, just simply one of the funniest comedians of all-time, and it is no secret that he loves music. He wrote and is featured as the host/star in the Michael Gondry directed Dave Chappelle's Block Party which was a major block party thrown by Chappelle in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn in the fall of 2004. He invited many of his favorite musicians to preform at the party, not to mention the Central State University Marching Band. There were so many highlights throughout this major event, but one had to be the Fugee's suprise reunion. Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Common preformed a set together; also Common preformed his classic The Light alongside his former girlfriend Erykah Badu. This documentary was originally released in the theatres and now is available as this wide screen un-rated DVD edition. There is also a soundtrack to this DVD, featuring many of the live tracks performed at Chappelle's Block Party.
